There is a recessed black carbon fiber 30-minute chronograph totalizer with luminous white Arabic numerals and markers, and a red-tipped polished indicator hand. It has pointed tapered rhodium-plated baton minute and hour hands with luminous inserts, and there is a large polished rhodium-plated center sweep seconds hand with a Zenith star logo counterbalance. There is a luminous white minute/fraction of a second scale with Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. The dial is textured black carbon fiber with steel faceted rectangular hour indices with luminous pips on the tips. The 42mm barrel-shaped solid three-body case, curved faceted lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are polished/matte.
It has an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, engraved with "ZENITH -EL PRIMERO – 100M," and the reference number.
It has a signed screw down winding crown, and a piston-style monopusher flyback chronograph push button. It has an alligator leather strap with PVD-coated stainless steel deployment clasp, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating.
